Sure, the undead are a problem, but the real enemy may well be other survivors out there. And as they meet cannibals and other obstacles, one wonders how much of their humanity can Rick, his son, and the others hold on to. Once again, the strength of this series lies in the character development and in the human drama. And once again, once you start, the series just draws you in.
